A Last Night concert is always a stirring occasion, and one that’s quintessentially
British.
This evening’s concert brings you a musical celebration of the best of British; its
landscape, its people and achievements. In a varied programme the Orchestra
performs music connected with all things British, from railway transport to television,
Shakespeare to the Spitfire – even James Bond!
In addition there will be all the usual Last Night favourites, so come along ready to
sing “Rule, Britannia”, “Land of Hope and Glory” and “Jerusalem”.
